Same-Same but Different SE Asia 2002 |
|
November 23 - December 10, 2002
This was my first foray into the third world. I started relatively easy in Hong Kong, and then dove headlong into the madness in Saigon.
I picked up a motorcycle diver and explored the Mekong River delta, and crashed a motorcycle before skipping town to Cambodia. I was enthralled with the temples at Angkor and took a harrowing journey to a more remote temple, completely subsumed by jungle.
Upon surviving Cambodia, I crossed into Thailand, where I met some lovely local women and ran around for a few days before returning to reality back home.
